    Suggestions for Your Application

    Your application is the first contact we have with you — and through it, we assess whether your profile aligns with the position in question.

    The CV should be clear, complete, and well-structured.

     


    We recommend including:

    • Contact details

    • A concise professional experience, highlighting key achievements

    • Academic education, with start and end dates

    • Main skills acquired and their respective levels (for example: language proficiency; experience with technological tools needed for the role, etc.)

    References and Certificates:

    To keep your CV clear and concise, you may include only the essential documents, such as:

    • Higher education diploma

    • Most relevant professional references

    • Certificates or statements required for the position

    Photograph and Cover Letter

    These elements are optional but can be useful to complement your application — especially if they are relevant to the position you are applying for.

     


     

    • Including a photograph is not mandatory. If you do not have a prepared photograph, it is not necessary to add one.

    • A cover letter is not mandatory but can be included with your application documents.

    Online Interviews

    We currently conduct most interviews via Microsoft Teams.

    It is important to keep in mind that, in order to attend them, you should:

    • Ensure you have a stable internet connection;

    • Be in a comfortable, safe, and quiet environment;

    • Prepare yourself with information about the company/project and the people involved in the interviews.

    Frequently Asked Questions about the Application and Hiring Process

    How are interviews currently conducted?

    Currently, most interviews are conducted via MS Teams or, in exceptional cases, by phone. However, for recruitment processes involving leadership responsibilities and/or sensitive roles in certain business areas, interviews may be held in person.

    How will the job interview be conducted?

    We want to learn more about you, your skills, and your motivation.

    The candidate and one or two colleagues from the relevant department, as well as a member of the recruitment team, will discuss various aspects of the role, and you’ll also get to know our company better.

    We will also answer any questions you may have about the job or the company.

    Technology: A computer or laptop with an internet connection. You should also use an updated browser, such as Firefox, Safari, or Chrome. Of course, you will need a microphone. However, using headphones with a built-in microphone would be an even better idea. Check your smartphone headphones to verify if they have a microphone.

    Make sure you have the MS Teams app installed or that you can access the interview link through your computer’s browser.

    Drinks: If necessary, prepare a glass or bottle of water so you can conduct the interview calmly.

    Video interview – what do I need to do to prepare?

    Familiarize yourself with having a job interview via your computer, which may be an unusual situation for you. It might be a good idea to try it out first. We will discuss the same topics that we would if we were talking in person.

     

     

    Why is the background important in a video interview?

    The background is an essential detail when making video calls. If the background is too bright (for example, in front of a window), it will be difficult to see you. Shelves or pictures will appear in the frame, so you should check the framing beforehand.

     

    What should I wear for my video interview?

    Dress comfortably and wear what you would wear if the interview were in person.

     

    How should I behave during a video interview?

    Stay calm, even if technical issues arise. Everything can be resolved. If there is something you don’t understand, don’t hesitate to ask and let us know if something isn’t working.

     

    We advise you to look directly at the camera. It’s like making “direct eye contact” in a video call. Pay attention to your hand gestures and body language when you speak.

    Will the interview be conducted by phone, mobile, or computer, and is a webcam necessary?

    Whether you turn on the webcam of your computer or laptop is, of course, your responsibility. However, we recommend using video because the recruiters and the responsible departments will also use their webcams to establish a connection with you from the first contact.

     

     

    What selection processes do you currently use (e.g., online tests)?

    In addition to phone calls and videoconferencing tools like MS Teams, we also use other online selection processes. There is a wide variety of interview topics that may be discussed, such as professional questions, language skills, personal matters, or a brief survey.

     

    You can prepare for an online recruitment test or an online assessment with specialized knowledge. Find a place where you can focus without distractions. You can freely choose when to take the test (however, there is usually a preferred deadline to complete it).

    What documents will I need or what requirements must I meet if I studied abroad?

    There are no differences regarding the required documents: All we need is your certificate of qualifications. If you have studied abroad, you should submit it as a certified translation into Portuguese and/or Spanish, depending on the vacancy.

    Can I apply for more than one position?

    In principle, candidates can apply for multiple positions. However, it is important to limit the number of applications and avoid applying for jobs in too many different operational areas. Instead, show us that you have specifically chosen a particular position because you believe its requirements best match your profile.
